Some basic strategies:
🎮Overall:
Watch the flags, big % of flags can be not suitable for copy-trading, low flags % like <20-30% can be risky for copy-trading, big amount of snipes can be risky for copy-trading(watch snipers strategy)
The more of 🟩 - x2-x5 | 🚀 - x5+ emojis, the more it is easier for copy-trade, less - doesnt mean it is not suitable for copy-trading 3) ⚠️(The most important thing to do)⚠️ Watch the enters and exits of last coins in the down of wallet check report, you need to watch if you were copying this wallet would you be profitable as well if you will be entering/exiting 2-10 sec later than trader you are copying, watch buy sums in coins and what was the profit in coins, sometimes you will want to skip trades where trader opening 100$ deal when his Avg Buy Sum is 5 sol, usually traders just testing some coins with small sums which they dont really trust - in this situation you might need to manual trade after him using bots notifiers of wallet transactions and skipping small sums trades. Sometimes you can figure out some other strategy over wallet activity, like going in after price drops ~some % down from traders enter, and placing some Take profits targets, before his exits.
Small Roi, small winrate - doesnt mean the wallet is bad, the more there deals the more roi and winrate will be dropping down, but that doesnt mean that profit will be bad
🎮Overall manual possibility to trade on wallets:
Sometimes you will find different wallets, some will be snipers, some scalpers, some awesome wallets, but if you will be carefully watching graphs with their deals - you will often see some new opportunities which you wont be able use with classical copy-trading, but you can start manually using these wallets activity as opportunity.
Wallet have good enters, but bad exits - use take profits, so you were in profit
Wallets often move their balance to other wallet to hide their trading from you eyes, if you place this wallet to notifiers of wallet transactions you can see when and where he moved his balance and you will be able to start copying new address (often wallets have a network of wallets which keep sending win money to some main wallet, but as well to that you can find when new created wallet get funded)
🎮Snipers
Snipers are people who using some private softs to enter coin on first blocks, the more expensive soft and the better is node the faster they enter (usual cost of good ones ~ 30k$+). That's people who is entering coin on first seconds of coin open trading.
If wallet is sniper he might be not very interesting to be copytraded, but if he always enters coins with snipes and exits the coin with some profit on start, but most of coins anyway keep growing, you might want to see what coins he enter and just enter after him manually maybe on some dip and exit on usual max % of coins he entered
Some snipers exit by ladder or quit just with one deal, you might want to watch when he closes part, so that means he know about some potential of coin, which you will able to get as well, so it makes sense to watch such snipers and enter when he closes some part
🎮Scalpers
Scalper are traders who opening deals and fast closing their deals with small % of profit. Their main profitability comes from DCAing the coin and making a lot of deals. Scalpers are rarely suitable for copy-trading, because because of time it takes copy-trade to execute you deal and slippage, like you can just enter after he already closes his deal.
You can watch their enters and if there are often seen DIPs after his enter, if yes - that might be a good point for you to enter, than you can watch what is average % he takes in one deal and place that target as you fix take profit
if scalper is playing with big avg buy sum, you might as well like that type of plays
🎮Fresh
Can mean that he just funded his new wallet or some new player.
you might want to watch 1-2 his next deals to start copying him or just skip
you have more time for paper trading of wallet
After you got base knowledge, write down your strategy, which wallets you are looking at, how they should trade, what should be their enters and exits look like.
Now when you have strategy to wallet you want to find, watch the files (profitable wallets section thread) with filters and choose something that suits you, if nothing suits you have a rest or go to previous files or wait next day.
When you found something decent, check his last trades with rugcheck if they are not with freeze turned or metadata is not mutable - because these things will prevent you from selling token on solana. Use TTF to see if there are no bad flags on tokens traded on other networks, to see there are no red flags on tokens. (https://t.me/ttfbotbot)
Than imagine your started to copy this wallet.
Write down the date, the sum you have and with what sum you will be entering.
Then place wallet on notifier (https://t.me/defined_bot) and write down each trade, each exit and enter.
Than on paper write down his enter and your enter(take some spread in mind i usually like to turn on 1 minute timeframe, watch the candle wallet enters and take the middle of the price of next 1 minute candle - that will be my enter, same for exit and count how much you would loose/earn.
Dont count comissions and so on it doesnt really matter on this time. The main idea for you is to start making right decisions without loosing real money.
When you see on paper that you are doing good - than start following your strategy with real money
